Handcrafted necklace for men in marine style, with pendant in the shape of a cement baderne, inlaid with a marine anchor in aged silver zamak. The choker is made of leather cord 5mm in aged brown diameter about 45cm long and closes with a silver hook clasp. The pendant measures approximately 35mm long by 22mm wide.
Did you know?
In the navy, during the 2nd half of the 18th century, the "baderne" designated a thick braid made using old ropes, braid which was applied around masts, yards, capstan ..., for protect from moisture and friction with other objects. We also used this flat knot as a doormat in front of the captain's cabin!
